January Favourites 2018

Not gonna lie, I feel like January 2018 lasted way more than 31 days. Maybe it's because I haven't gone back to uni yet... Anyways, I decided to recap on some of my favourites of the month.

I'm gonna start with fashion. Number one on my list has to be my denim pinafore!! I'm seriously so freaking obsessed with it! I've worn it so many times & even did a styling video on my channel for it. I just love how comfy it is & it's so easy to dress up or down. And since it's black, it just goes with literally everything! (I've tagged the pinafore in the image below if you want to shop it!)

My next favourite would have to be fishnet socks! I've been pairing them with everything! I think it really spices up any outfit & makes it look so much better! I received a pair from Supre in December & at first I was a bit iffy on them, but now I wear them 24/7.

I've been loving white sneakers as well!! Especially with fishnet socks. They're really comfy & look super cute (especially in the summer time!). My favourite is the one I'm wearing in the picture above, but I can't find the exact pair online - but I got them from Platypus in December.

Those are my top three fashion faves of the month. Now I'll be moving onto music faves! (I would talk about beauty but I haven't actually tried any new beauty items).

I think my number one favourite song in January was Homemade Dynamite by Lorde. Honestly, it has been on repeat for the whole of January and even now. It's so catchy & I just love Lorde's music in general.

Another song I've been loving is Never Be The Same by Camila Cabello. As I said in my last favourites post, I'm obsessing over Camila lately & she released her debut album early January & to say I fell in love would be an understatement. Her voice is pure magic & her lyrics are AMAZING!! Never Be The Same is my favourite ATM, but Real Friends is a close second because I can really relate to it.

And the last song I'm going to mention in my favourites is Hell No's & Headphones by Hailee Steinfeld. I actually found this song by accident when I was making a spotify playlist & I listened to it, and I loved it! It's a bit old now but it's such a good upbeat song!

Moving onto my top 3 favourite YouTubers ATM:

1. Jess & Gabriel

I've been watching Jess & Gabriel since they got married & I absolutely love them! Their vlogs just make my heart so happy.

They both seem like such kindhearted genuine people & their love story gives me hope that love actually exists. I also love their

personal channels. I love watching Jess' singing videos & her favourites. And Gabe's creative videos are crazy amazing!! His

editing skills are goals.

2. MissRemiAshten

Omg I freaking love this girl! She's a little ball of sunshine and her positivity and constant happiness makes me wanna be a

better person everyday, I love her main channel videos but I also love her vlogs! She puts in so much effort in every single one

of her videos, and you can really see that reflected in her videos. Her vlogs are always so entertaining and I love how long they

are! I also love watching her fitness journey, she really is such an inspiration to me.

3. Meghan Rienks

I started watching Meghan after seeing Freakish. And I'm really glad I did. Her videos are so funny & always well filmed. I love

watching her podcasts & her visual poems (especially the one called Spark). The way she films and writes her visual poems are

amazing.

TV SHOWSSSSSSS!!! The main TV series I've been binge watching lately is The Tribe. I used to be obsessed with this show when I was younger, and I was feeling nostalgic so I decided to watch it again. I'm still as obsessed as I was in 2010. The storyline is just so interesting & I'm still so sad that they never made a season six after ending season five with the BIGGEST cliffhanger ever.

My favourite movie this month has to be Jumanji. I watched it with my uncle on New Year's Day, and it was so good!! I loved how action packed it was, and I could watch it over and over and over again, and not get sick of it.
